Little Naismith

Registration for the Winter Session will open on December 4, 2023.  Limited spaces and they fill up quickly. Our fall session filled up in 2 days! 

The Little Naismith program is a 10-week program designed to introduce players aged 5-7 years, both boys and girls, to the fundamental skills involved in basketball.  Little Naismith involves a holistic approach to athlete development based on the Sport Canada Long Term Athlete Development model.

• There is limited space available for each session we run.
• There will be three teams capped at 16 per team.
• Each team will have one practice a week.
• Each player receives a Little Naismith T-Shirt and a mini basketball!

Program start date:  January 22, 2024

Location: Tuesday or Thursday at St Gregory Catholic School in Carleton Place and Wednesdays in Almonte (school to be determined) 

Time: 6:15 to 7:15 pm. 

Cost:  $100

Please note that you can expect to hear from a member of the association or your coach a week or two before the start date of the program.
